International study and work experience are the minimum requirements for young graduates seeking international careers. German Studies Russia provides both, while focusing on these learning objectives:

  • Regional expertise: become and expert on Russia’s most important trading partner, Germany, and its position within the EU
  • Interdisciplinary skills: you will learn to analyse Germany from different perspectives, focusing on policy, the economy, media and EU, broadening your subject knowledge from your regular study program
  • Professional language skills: you will study and work in German, learning subject-specific vocabulary. You will also have the opportunity to improve your English language skills
  • Interactive learning: develop your communication skills through discussions, simulation games and real-world tasks, strengthening your ability to structure and analyze your arguments
  • Work experience: gain practical experience in a German company or institution during a minimum six-week internship
